Delete your account

You can delete your Oraclea account whenever you want: from the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have the app. Here is how, and what happens to your data.

From the app

  • Open Oraclea and sign in to your account.
  • Go to Profile and tap “Delete account”.
  • Enter your password and tap “Delete” to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone: your account and all the data linked to it are erased at once.

Without the app

If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in, write to us from the Contact page, with the topic “Account and sign-in”, using the email address of your account, so that we can check that the request really comes from you. We delete the account and all the data linked to it within 30 days of your request.

If you have Premium

Deleting your account does not cancel your Premium subscription: unless you cancel it, the store keeps renewing it. Before deleting your account, cancel the subscription in the settings of Google Play or the App Store.

What we delete

Everything: the account (username, email and password) and all the data linked to it, that is your profile and birth data, natal chart, journal, daily messages, readings and questions to the oracle, rituals and ratings, friendships and friend requests, blocks, invitations, reports, notifications and the messages you sent us from the Contact page.

What is kept

  • Purchases made in the stores: if you bought Premium, the payment data stays in the records of Google Play or the App Store (and of RevenueCat, which manages the subscription status for us), under their own rules.
  • The server's backup copies: the data may stay there for the time stated on the Privacy and cookies page.
  • The site's technical error log, which deletes itself after about 30 days.
  • The accounting records of purchases (orders, payments, subscriptions), no longer linked to any account, and any other data the law requires us to keep, only for the time required.
  • Data saved only on your phone (for example the people added for synastry): it is erased when you uninstall the app.
